Privacy notice

WaveRunner is an independent research project managed by the WaveRunner team in Missouri, USA.

The request form collects name, delivery email, age, personal background responses and assessment length. Personal background includes gender, race or ethnicity, work or study role, military affiliation and leadership role. Referral details, reason for requesting and notes are optional. It also records the submitted page address and browser user-agent information, and uses security checks to protect the request service.

We use request details to review access, issue assessment links, prefill details and manage delivery. If you participate, answers and calculated results are also used to create your report and to study and improve WaveRunner. Names and delivery emails may remain linked to the research record. Research participation is required before answering a new assessment.

Authorized WaveRunner administrators can access records according to their assigned permissions. Research exports are limited to administrators with export permission. Choosing not to share with a requesting app account does not hide a record from authorized WaveRunner administrators.

Google/Firebase supplies hosting, accounts, security, databases and storage. The assessment-report workflow also uses an email provider and OpenAI for readable interpretations. Information needed to perform these services may be processed by them. Agreement here does not authorize public release of your identifiable answers or report.

This request page uses browser session storage to remember a recent successful request and prevent accidental repeat submissions. The assessment may use a secure browser credential to recognize a previously accepted participation notice. Supplied contact details alone are not independent identity verification.

Submitting the request records the applicable terms and notice versions, your acknowledgements, supplied contact details and a server-recorded time. Request acknowledgements are kept separate from the person taking the assessment's research agreement and report-sharing choice.

You may ask the WaveRunner team for access, corrections, deletion or withdrawal from future research use. Contact the WaveRunner team at waverunnerteam@gmail.com. These requests are reviewed by the team; removal from completed aggregate research may not be possible. This notice does not promise an automatic deletion schedule.

Requests for participation under 18 are currently not accepted. If the applicable notice materially changes, a new acknowledgement or agreement may be required.
