Research participation

WaveRunner is an independent research project managed by the WaveRunner team, based in Missouri, USA.

Your assessment answers, age, required personal background responses and calculated results are used to prepare your report and to study and improve the framework, its measurements and comparisons across observations. Your name and email are used to deliver and manage your report and may remain linked to your research record.

The Master Admin and administrators with assigned report-viewing permission can access your record. Administrators with research-export permission may export it for authorized research. Privacy from a requesting account does not hide your record from these administrators.

Service providers process information to help us create, store and deliver your report, including AI-assisted explanations. Your agreement does not authorize public release of your identifiable information. Provider details are in the Privacy Notice.

Participation is voluntary. Research agreement is required to begin a new assessment. Your assessment has 45, 75 or 105 questions, depending on the option selected, and you can take the time you need. You can stop before submitting; a completed set of answers is needed to create your report. Some questions may feel personal or uncomfortable. Your report may support reflection, but no personal benefit is guaranteed. We use access controls to protect your information, although online storage and delivery cannot eliminate the risk of unauthorized access. WaveRunner is an independent research and self-reflection framework; its profile is not a diagnosis or a proven measurement of civilizational cycles. This agreement is not a confidentiality contract imposed on an ordinary participant.

If another account invited you, choose separately whether that account can view your report and use it in comparisons. You receive your report by email either way. A person with access may save a copy; removing app access cannot recall copies already saved.

You may ask the WaveRunner team about access, corrections, deletion or withdrawal from future research use. Contact the WaveRunner team at waverunnerteam@gmail.com. Removal from results already incorporated into completed aggregate research may not be possible. This release accepts participants aged 18 or older; participation by minors requires a separate guardian-consent process.

We remember approval of the same notice using your verified app-account binding or a secure browser credential linked to your private invitation. Account approval is remembered while the same notice remains applicable. Website browser recognition is valid for up to one year; if secure recognition is unavailable or your details or the notice change, we ask again. It is not proof of identity, guardian authority or permission to share every future report.

Your agreement records this notice's version, your supplied name, delivery email and age, your sharing choice when applicable, and a server-recorded submission time. Supplied details record your approval; they are not independent verification of your identity.
